Apple and EMI to drop DRM

This is probably the best news I've heard in the last few weeks. According to this iTunes will sell tracks from EMI catalog DRM-Free from now on. I'll be buying some music from iTunes from now on and I think my conscious won't hurt as much now if I buy an Ipod. Who knows, maybe I will.

Since they now store the name of the mp3 buyer in the meta tags of the mp3 file, it is even safer then drm now!
